I hope everyone had an amazing Thanksgiving and weekend.
Chanel’s new short film was directed by none other than Chanel fashion house’s head designer Karl Lagerfeld. Starring in the short is the “Happy” Singer Pharrell Williams, Fashion Model Cara Delevingne and Geraldine Chaplin playing Coco Chanel. Geraldine Chaplin is the Daughter of Charlie Chaplin and the granddaughter of American Playwright Eugene O’Neill.
The Film is almost 8 minutes long and it was worth all Eight Minutes!
Pharrell Williams has been doing a lot these past few years. I remember the first time I ever seen Pharrell was in Mystikal’s song Shake it Fast (Clean Version, but we all know the dirty version too. Who can’t forget the opening of Scary Movie 2). Now, His song Happy was in the film Despicable Me 2 and was Nominated for an Oscar. Now, He’s in a short film with one of the huge fashion companies in the world and composed the song as well.
Pharrell has his own style and I do consider him to be one of most fashionable men in the music industry. I said one of them not the only one. But on a film scale I give this film a 4/5. It was cute, Fairytale, and did not bore me at all.
Cara Delevingne looked absolutely flawless in this film. The dress made her look like ultimate princess. Even though her eyebrows to me are too thick.. (Inner Voice: I wish I had thick Eyebrows) She looked beautiful.
