New Trailers Releases

Hello Droogz and Diamonds!

I hope everyone is enjoying the weekend.

Before I start this post I want to say that my prayers and thoughts are with people who were affected by Hurricane Michael. If anyone who is interested in donating please click here.

There have been a few trailers and teasers that have me very invested in the films. (Some are old trailers)

Pet Sematary 2019

Everyone who knows me knows how much I absolutely idolize Stephen King. My mother and I are fans of his books and movies. (Except for the Stand- I can’t with that movie)

The movies that have been released such as IT, 1922 and Gerard’s way have been phenomenal and actually have been hits. I actually turned my boyfriend into a Stephen King Fan. He loves the whole Dark Tower Theory.

Pet Sematary was a book made into a 1989 classic, starring Miko Hughes. Remember that cute kid from Kindergarten Cop

How Cute!

Now, Pet Sematary has been remade. Why am I all for this? Well, Anyone who is a fan of the books knows that not everything gets put into the book. From the trailer, they did add elements that weren’t included in the original. I am invested in seeing this film. I think with the technology we have now, the films will come out much better as far as CGI.

There rumors that more Stephen King books are set to be made into films. Doctor Sleep which is a sequel to The Shining and his latest novel The Outsider.  If you haven’t read any of these books I highly you do.

This is a teaser and it is absolutely stunning. It gives me the feels from my childhood. Directed by Guy Ritchie, If you don’t know who that is, he used to be married to the Icon Madonna.

“Aladdin” stars Will Smith as the larger-than-life Genie; Mena Massoud as the charming scoundrel Aladdin; Naomi Scott as Jasmine, the beautiful, self-determined princess; Marwan Kenzari as Jafar, the powerful sorcerer; Navid Negahban as the Sultan concerned with his daughter’s future; Nasim Pedrad as Dalia, Princess Jasmine’s free-spirited best friend and confidante; Billy Magnussen as the handsome and arrogant suitor Prince Anders; and Numan Acar as Hakim, Jafar’s right-hand man and captain of the palace guards.

Disney has been releasing a lot of live action of their favorite classic cartoons. As a child, I loved beauty and the beast. Now, my daughter loves the live action version. This is something that I know Visually is going to be amazing. Would it make money in the box office? I’m going to say Hell Yeah!

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald

Any Harry Potter fans out there?

Two weeks ago the final trailer for Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald dropped and a lot of fans mouth dropped for one particular reason. In the trailer, we see a young Dumbledore, who enrolls his former student Newt Scamander, Without knowing the dangers lie ahead he agrees to help. The lines of love and loyalty are tested to a divided wizarding world.

This trailer had me so excited. I love the Harry Potter series (Hufflepuff in the house)

There was controversy when this trailer dropped. All because of Nagini, That’s right in the trailer Nagini is a WOMAN. There were mixed feelings in the beginning but most have been positive for the character being a woman and the casting choice. I have no problem with this whatsoever and it makes the HP universe more interesting. I’m excited to see this film. Pregnant and all I’m going to see this movie.

This trailer came out two days ago and this really looks interesting. This film falls under the split and unbreakable universe. M. Night Shyamalan directed this feature.

Now, over the past years, M. Night Shyamalan has made pretty terrible movies. Some are a guilty pleasure. Lady in the Water is my mom’s favorite guilty pleasure movie. She knows it’s so bad that it’s so good to her,

At one point M. Night Shyamalan was going to be known as the next Steven Spielberg.

Until he made The Village which wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t great either. The worse movie he ever directed that made money was The last air bender.

However, he rebounded his career with the film The Visit. I actually enjoyed that movie. If you haven’t seen that film. Click here to see the trailer. Teaming up with Blumhouse Productions was actually a smart idea since they are taking over the horror genre.

Seeing the visit I couldn’t believe it was an M. Night Shyamalan film and gave me hope to watch his next film which was Split.

I actually saw Split with my cousin in the theaters and it wasn’t a disappointment. There was a lot of talking but it wasn’t boring. It was actually intriguing since the character had multiple personalities. Split revived M. Night Shyamalan’s career. The end of Split takes us here to this trailer. Glass.

Anyone, who has seen unbreakable knows who Mr. Glass is.  If you haven’t you’re 18 years behind. Go watch it.

I am all for the crossover film. They even cast Sarah Paulson. You know this isn’t going to be a shit movie. I have never seen Sarah Paulson in a crappy film. If so, comment below. Besides her, they have a talented cast and I’m excited about this film. Would this break box office? No, I don’t think it would be in a number one spot. Maybe, Top 5 or 10 but not the number one spot.

Captain Marvel

Brie Larson has been cast to play Captain Marvel. I’m half invested in this film. There were mixed feelings about it. There was a lot of criticism because in the trailer you see Captain Marvel punching an old woman.  I’m just going to keep it short. It looks promising and it will make box office because its a Marvel film but am I excited? Not really. However, maybe closer to the release date maybe I will be but right now its an ehhhh for me.

Like and Comment Below to let me know what movie you’re excited to see. It doesn’t have to be trailer posted on this blog but just let me know.

Follow my blog and I’ll follow back.

Be Kind,

N.L ❤
